Title: Manitou Man Artist: Les Edwards Publisher: British Fantasy SocietyYear: 1998 Synopsis: Collection of Masterton from British Fantasy Society Comments: The BFS chose to use the same Les Edwards painting featured on The Djinn for this collection of Masterton's work. Foreword by Peter James and Masterton on Masterton! Remember, this collection was put together by Matt Williams who runs the Official Graham Masterton site. Thanks to Ron Sutton...
Title: Swiat Mastertona Artist: Publisher: AlbatrosYear: 1999 Synopsis: Polish Edition of Manitou Man Comments: Matt Williams sends us this Polish edition of his masterwork on Masterton, Manitou Man. Interesting that they changed the name to Swiat Mastertona. I tried looking up 'swiat' in a polish-english dictionary with no luck. I did find the word in context on several polish pages. It possibly means "collection" although it is also contained in the phrase "Wesolych Swiat" which means "Merry Christmas". I'm horrible with languages. The cover here is a nice one, with shattered bloody glass superimposed over a woman's torso. The elements of sex and violence in Graham's works are here represented.
Thanks Matt!
Title: Inside Cover of Manitou Man, Limited Edition Artist: Publisher: British Fantasy SocietyYear: 1998 Synopsis: Signed inside cover of Manitou Man Comments: Mag Read sent me this copy of the title page from her edition of Manitou Man, signed by Masterton and other luminaries associated with the book. Very, very cool. Thank you Mag!
Title: Manitou Man Bookmark Artist: Publisher: Year: Synopsis: Comments: Matt Williams, one of the authors of Manitou Man, GM webmaster and owner of the cutting edge guitar label Liquid Note Records is seriously one of the nicest guys I have ever exchanged e-mail with. Out of the blue one day on the Graham Masterton Message Board he mentioned he had Maniotu Man page markers and offered to send them to folks for free. I asked for one and in less than a week it showed up (that's from Wales to Virginia, not a short trip). It's a cool bookmark, almost too cool to use. Thanks Matt! Thank you Mag!
